CFP® (Estia Focused Financial)

What drew me in was the financial planning culture and the inspiring community of advisors building successful, fulfilling businesses. Making the transition sparked a long-term commitment in me — to professional growth, leadership, and ultimately forming our brand, Estia Focused Financial. It’s been truly life-changing. I’m so grateful I took the leap and trusted both my instincts and the incredible leaders at the Mid-Atlantic Financial Group, who believed in what was possible even before I fully did.

I came from a wirehouse where questioning the status quo wasn’t exactly encouraged. At Prudential, leadership not only supports us — they actively challenge us to grow, think independently, and step outside our comfort zones. Taking the leap during the throws of COVID was a risk, but it allowed me to transform my business, which has given me the freedom to be more present for my young family.

Transitioning to the Mid-Atlantic Financial Group has been a significant upgrade for our practice. The immediate credibility gained from Prudential’s established brand, coupled with leadership’s strong emphasis on teaming and financial planning, perfectly aligns with our goals. Additionally, gaining access to external resources like trainings from Sten Morgan and Matt Jarvis has truly accelerated our growth by years compared to where we would have been.

When evaluating firms, it was critical for me to partner with an organization that would help me effectively and efficiently transfer my clients, provide marketing support and encourage open architecture in both products and providers. It was critical for me to find a firm where the leadership’s role was to “clear the path” of obstacles and distractions so that I could focus solely on growing my practice. Working with the leadership team at the Mid-Atlantic Financial Group has been a game-changer for our brand. From the very beginning, they took the time to understand our vision and values, then helped us translate that into a cohesive and compelling brand identity. They provided the guidance and expertise to help us clarify our message, elevate our visual and virtual presence and connect more authentically with our clients.

Going through the Career Development Program helped me grow as an advisor by strengthening my ability to collaborate across teams and leverage experienced mentors. The program provided access to resources and coaching that were there when I needed them, without forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. Most importantly, it gave me the flexibility to build my practice in a way that reflects my values and my clients’ needs.

I joined Mid-Atlantic Financial Group through the Career Development Program with no prior experience in financial services. Over the past 16 years, I’ve grown from a new hire into the leader of a thriving practice, thanks to ongoing mentorship, targeted training, and meaningful support from both Mid-Atlantic and Prudential. As I continue to build Integrated Wealth Advisors, the guidance and resources I receive are tailored to my goals—helping me lead a growing team and deliver real impact to the clients we serve.

Before joining Prudential Advisors, I was working in the restaurant business with limited financial experience, but the Career Development Program gave me the tools and support to build a thriving practice. Nearly 12 years later, I’ve found not just a career, but a family—leadership genuinely cares about your growth and success. This opportunity has allowed me to provide for my family in ways I never imagined, and I’m truly grateful I made the decision to join.

The Career Development Program was a game-changer. I came in with no prior experience, and the program provided the structure, support, and confidence I needed to succeed as a young advisor. The leadership and training I received truly helped jump-start my career, and I continue to grow everyday thanks to the ongoing development opportunities.

Courtney Brobst

I started my career in the CDP Program at Prudential as a young financial planner, and I’ve really enjoyed the opportunity to run my own business with strong leadership and support behind me while also being given the flexibility of building my personal brand. The program allows me to learn and grow alongside my peers while also gaining insights from more experienced professionals. Knowing that I’m supported while also being held to high expectations—both by others and myself—gives me confidence that Prudential provides the tools and environment for success.

I joined Prudential Advisors right out of college with no experience in financial planning—just a strong drive to succeed and a desire to make a difference. The Career Development Program gave me the foundation, mentorship, and confidence to grow, and today I run a thriving, independent practice helping clients achieve their financial goals. Looking back, joining this firm was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made—it set the course for a career and life I’m proud of.
